| There are two kinds of meetings
in an association. There are meetings of unit owners (or membership meetings)
and there are meetings of the board of managers.
The board conducts the day to day business of the association at its meetings. Membership meetings are limited to voting to elect the board, any votes to remove board members, or a vote among several other items that may require unit owner approval. Meetings of the board may be called by the president or by 25% of the members of the board. The unit owners themselves do not have the power to call a board meeting. Membership meetings may be called by the president, board of managers, or by 20% (of the vote) of unit owners. |
