| The board has the power to fill vacancies on the board from resignation,
removal, or the failure to qualify as a board member. The remaining
members of the board may fill the vacancy by two-thirds vote until
the next annual meeting of unit owners, or until the unit owners
fill
the vacancy as provided below.
In the event a petition signed by unit owners holding 20% of
the votes of the association is submitted to the board to request
a meeting of the unit owners to fill the vacancy for the balance
of the term, then the board shall call a unit owner meeting no
later than 30 days after the filing of the petition for the purpose
of filling a vacancy on the board.
